Check the packaging
Genuine Arabic perfumes come in high-quality boxes with sharp print and clear text. Check that the batch code on the box matches the bottle — they should always be identical.
Verify the batch code
Most major perfume houses allow you to verify authenticity via the batch code on checkfresh.com or directly with the perfume house. The code tells you the production date and location.

How to spot
a fake perfume
Unfortunately the market is full of fakes. Here are the most common signs that something is wrong — regardless of who you buy from.
Genuine perfume
- Sharp, clear print on the box
- Batch code on box and bottle are identical
- Heavy, solid bottle with even surface
- The spray pump delivers a fine, even mist
- The scent lasts for many hours
- The seal is intact and even
- The price is realistic — not too good to be true
Copy / fake
- Uneven print, wrong fonts or colours
- Batch codes do not match
- Light, cheap bottle with uneven surface
- The spray pump sprays unevenly or leaks
- The scent disappears after a short time
- The seal is loose, crooked or missing
- The price is suspiciously low
